What is Hypnosis?
What do you think of when you think of hypnosis? Does your mind conjure up images of an office party entertainer making colleagues sing like Elvis or quack like a duck? If so, you’re not alone. But hypnosis as entertainment, is a far cry from what parents experience in HypnoBirthing©. Simply put, hypnosis is focused concentrated awareness. It’s similar to deep meditation and this technique is used in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices. In our HypnoBirthing classes we review in detail the mind/body connection and how mother’s and their partners can remain in a state of relaxation. You leave class with all of the tools to bring yourself into this peaceful state.
